Men's Walking Weekend

The date of the men's walking weekend this year is 21st - 23rd September. We will be going to Magdalen Farm Centre on the Dorset/Somerset border.

The Saturday walk will be down to the coast starting at the interesting village of Whitchurch Canonicorum where the church has a reliquary. We will be climbing the Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast with great views, before walking along the South Coast path to Charmouth, then back to Whitchurch.

The cost will be £75 a head but if that is too much of a stretch for anybody then please see myself or Skully. The format will be the usual: good food, exercise in the fresh air (weather permitting), fellowship and games.

Transport will be by the usual combination of vehicles leaving Guildford over the Friday at times to suit. We can pick up people from Crewkerne station if required.

YPF: Beach Trip - Meet at Spectrum Car Park

YPF is a friendly group for young people between the ages of 14 and 18 (school years 10-13).

We usually meet on Saturday nights at the church from 7:30pm to 10pm during normal school term times. Every third week we have a relaxed Friday evening drop in at the home of one of the leaders. We also go away as a group for the occasional weekend, and last year we spent a week together in Wales during the summer holidays. It was brilliant! Most weeks we run fun activities which can include, silly games and cooking and eating food. We also have talks, discussions and studies to try to understand the good news of the Bible and to see what that means for our everyday lives.

Most Sunday nights after the evening service, there is an opportunity for the YPF to get together informally at someone's house.
